About BC Offshore Schools
The British Columbia (B.C.) Ministry of Education and Child Care offers a globally recognized, innovative curriculum to students worldwide through the B.C. Offshore School Program. Graduating from one of the many B.C. offshore schools around the world, a student can obtain the B.C. Graduation Certificate – Dogwood Diploma, without leaving their country. Many students and families choose a B.C. offshore school because they would like to study in B.C. or Canada after secondary school, possibly even to work and live in Canada in the future.
BC Offshore Education Consulting (BCOEC) works as a Service Provider to help and support the client to open, certify, and operate British Columbia Ministry of Education and Child Care K-12 Schools (Elementary, Middle/Junior, and High School).
The steps for opening a BC Offshore School requires detailed knowledge and preparation of the BC Education system. BCOEC located in British Columbia, Canada, has extensive history and experience working in international education since 2007. BCOEC works with the BC International Education Offshore Program Office on behalf of the client to establish a partnership between the School Client and the BC Government in order to meet the all the requirements to obtain certification for operating an accredited BC Offshore School Program.
The President of BCOEC, Greg Corry, has over 35 years of experience in the BC Education System and 24 years working in international education. Mr. Corry’s vast array of expertise and knowledge includes working as a school inspector for independent and offshore schools, consulting schools for successfully operating their independent and offshore school and serves as an Offshore School Representative (OSR) for new clients who want to open a BC Offshore School Program (School).
International Education in British Columbia (B.C.) supports diversity and inclusion, and enables the development of intercultural competencies for B.C. students, teachers and communities.
